Are the weather resistant cushion covers washable?
Yes, our covers on our outdoor cushions are machine washable using the delicate cycle and a mild detergent. First un-zip the cushions and remove the foam inserts, then zip the cushion cover back up and place into the washer. Make sure you do not wash the covers inside out as this may damage them. After washing, hang them out to dry or lay flat on a clean surface, do not dry them in a drier.
Is Kyndway furniture made from sustainable materials?
Yes, our outdoor furniture is sustainably made from acacia wood and eucalyptus wood, both being well suited to life outdoors. The timber our factories use is certified by the most credible forest certification system. The wood is tracked from the responsibly managed forest where the wood was harvested all the way to the factory that uses it to craft our wonderful furniture.
How durable is the rope and acacia wood used in outdoor furniture?
We use polypropylene rope that is designed especially for hand-woven rope furniture. This material is ideal as it is lightweight and resistant to mildew and rot.
Acacia has long been used for outdoor furniture, with it being naturally resistant to warping, water and insects. With proper care it can last for a decade or more. To keep your acacia wood outdoor furniture standing the test of time be sure to cover them with a quality furniture cover during extreme weather and periodically reseal the surface with good oil.
How to care for Acacia and Eucalyptus Wood Outdoor Furniture
For regular cleaning, wiping down with a soft cloth and mild soap diluted with water is all that is needed. Be sure not to use any harsh cleaners as that may strip the oil finish. Lastly, dry immediately.
By nature, Acacia will weather to a soft gray. If the oiled look is what you prefer, occasionally re-oiling your furniture will maintain the look. First lightly sand all surfaces with fine grit sandpaper, then wipe everything down with a tack cloth before applying a light coat of natural furniture oil such as teak-oil or linseed oil. Once the oil is set be sure to wipe off any excess with a clean, lint free cloth.
Note when sanding or scuffing up any wooden outdoor furniture or accessories, do not use steel-wool as particles of the steel-wool may embed themselves into the wood and rust stains can develop over time.
What to do if my wooden furniture has loosened up a little over time?
Due to the heavy use or natural expansion and contraction of the wood the assembled furniture may have loosened up a bit. Snugging up all the fasteners will tighten everything back up. Take care not to overtighten the screws as that may strip the threads. Tightening the screws clockwise until it is just snug is all that is needed.

How soon will my order ship?
Orders are shipped within 48 hours of receiving them, in the case it takes longer we will promptly reach out to let you know. Most orders will be shipped via Fedex and tracking numbers will be provided as soon as your order has been processed. To start a return, you can contact us at info@kyndway.com.
Note our sets ship in separate boxes, this makes it easy for you to handle the furniture upon reaching your door as well as allowing you to customize your set if you need to add an extra piece or two.
What if I need to return my order?
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Note there will be a 5% return fee plus the cost of shipping for items in their original packaging and 20% return fee plus the cost of shipping for items not in their original packaging. The fee is based on the total price paid for the item(s) being returned.
What happens if my order was damaged in transit?

Where does Kyndway ship to?
We ship to the lower 48 states, including Washington D.C.. Unfortunately, we currently do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and other US territories.
