Our Story
Kyndway began at home.
After spending more than 20 years designing, developing, and sourcing outdoor furniture and cooking products, we knew we decided to build something of our own. Not just another furniture brand, but a company guided by the values that matter most to us: quality, honesty, kindness, and creating products people can enjoy for years.
When we started talking about what to call this new chapter, our kids were 8 and 11 years old. We asked for their ideas, and our daughter said the name should have something to do with being kind. After all, we always tell our kids to treat others as they want to be treated, no exceptions.
The simplicity of that stayed with us.
Kindness is something we believe belongs in every part of a business, from how products are designed and manufactured, to how customers are treated long after a purchase arrives at their door. That conversation inspired the name Kyndway (pronounced kind-way). The spelling may be unique, but the meaning remains the same.
As a family-owned business, we've been fortunate to spend our careers immersed in home products. We've worked in design studios, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and product development teams. We've seen what makes outdoor products last and what causes them to fail. We've learned that great outdoor furniture isn't defined by trends or marketing, it comes down to thoughtful design, quality materials, and attention to the details that people live with every day.
Today, we work closely with family-owned manufacturing partners who share those same values. We look for skilled craftsmanship, responsible sourcing, ethical working environments, and people who take pride in their work. We believe the products we bring into your home should reflect the care and integrity of the people who made them.
