About Us
A Family Business With a Heartfelt Origin
Kyndway is a family-run business built on more than 20 years of hands-on experience in industrial design and outdoor living. We’ve spent our careers immersed in every part of the process, from design studios to factory floors, from fine-tuning materials and details to understanding how products are made, shipped, and ultimately lived with. Being involved at every stage isn’t just how we work, it’s how we ensure things are done the right way.
Our name has a very personal origin. When our daughter was ten, we were discussing what to call this new chapter of our work. She suggested that the name should reflect being “kind.” That simple idea resonated immediately and it captured what mattered most to us, creating furniture that’s thoughtfully made, respectful of the environment, and crafted by people who take pride in their work. From that moment, Kyndway (pronounced kind·way) came to life, it's spelled a little differently, but rooted in the same meaning.
Today, we partner closely with family-owned factories that share our values. We look for skilled craftsmanship, ethical working environments, and a genuine respect for the people behind every piece. Because we believe the best outdoor furniture isn’t just designed well, it’s also made with care, honesty, and intention at every step.
Thoughtful Design Rooted in the Southwest
Hailing from the sun-washed beauty of the American Southwest, our contemporary furnishings are created to fit naturally into your everyday rhythms, be it patio mornings, balcony sunsets, backyard gatherings, and all the moments in between. We design and curate unique, reasonably priced pieces that elevate outdoor living while standing the test of time.
Built to Last, with Care for the Planet
We believe in making fewer things, better. Quality over quantity guides every decision we make. While our furniture may cost more than mass-produced, disposable alternatives, it’s intentionally built to last, designed to be lived with for years, not seasons. That durability helps reduce unnecessary waste and supports a more responsible way of furnishing outdoor spaces.
Our commitment to long-lasting outdoor furniture starts with carefully chosen materials and construction methods meant to hold up to real use and real weather. Every design reflects our belief that outdoor furniture should be comfortable, durable, and thoughtfully made, for your home and for the environment we all share.
